Terms of Service

Definitions:

Newbie Locs – Dreadlocks start-up (beginner)
Maintenance – Beautifying the hair by tightening, trimming, palm-rolling, twisting, etc. without style.
Styles – Locs Styles or Dreadlocks Styles are the creation of artistic ideas and transforming those ideas to the hair.
Loctician – A professional beautician of Dreadlocks experienced with the knowledge in manipulating various hair types and textures for a desired result.
Clients – Any person who subscribes to the use of Majestic Locs Service.

Services Offered:

Newbie Locs , Maintenance, Maintenance + Style for Natural Locs
Interlocking, Plaits, Palm-rolling, Comb-coiling, Twist n’ Rip, Back-combing , Two-strand twists
Dreadlock Repair (Attachments, Snipping, Crocheting)
Basic to advance Locs Styles for any occasion (weddings, print ads, daily wear etc.)
Multiethnic hair care (all hair types and textures)
Dreadlocks Consultation and Service Quote (all service quotes are approximates and are not finalized until booking date)
Clean and comfortable private residence.

Bookings:

Bookings can be made through the web at www.majesticlocs.ca, email: majesticlocs@gmail.com, by phone: 647-710-6445, or by text messaging.
To better ensure that you receive your desired booking date and time, it is highly encouraged that you book in advance at least 7 days prior to your date of choice
Bookings made within twenty-four hours (24) or less may be accommodated given that space and time permits. An additional service cost will be applied.

Booking Preparation:

Thoroughly wash hair prior to your arrival; unclean hair will be turned away
Do not apply any hair care products to the hair after washing
Hair appointments may last anywhere from two and a half hours (2.5) to five hours plus (5+) depending on your specific hair care needs
Clients are to arrive ten (10) minutes prior to there scheduled booking time to get situated and to begin the booking on time
All hair appointments must be confirmed within a 24-48hrs time slot prior to booking date; confirmation will be made by phone, text or email
For all drivers there is a Pay-to-Park so bring along loose change for the meter
Parents with children are strongly encouraged to keep children occupied as they patiently wait (IE activity book, crayons etc)
One person other than yourself may accompany you to your hair appointment.

Photographs:

Unless stated verbally or through written communication all photographs taken of Clients by Majestic Locs are the sole property of Majestic Locs and may be altered and publicly used for marketing purposes in a variety of media formats.

Cancellation:

If cancellations with a particular Client becomes problematic Majestic Locs reserves the right to institute a cancellation fee due to the loss of earnings during that period
Majestic Locs reserves the right to cancel, turn away or reschedule a booking for any reason deemed necessary

Rates:

Newbie Locs – from $100+
Locs Maintenance – from $65+
Locs Styles – from $10+

Basic service rates are subject to increase depending on hair type, texture, length and method used
Rates for Styles are not inclusive. Styles must be coupled with Newbie Locs or Locs Maintenance.

Notice of Change:

Terms of Service are subject to change without notice and will be updated on website, http://majesticlocs.ca. Use of our service is implied consent to any updates and changes made to these Terms of Service.

Indemnification:

All Clients agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Majestic Locs and Affiliates of and from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or relating to use of our service.
