   I have no issues whatvoeser letting my kids do anything they want to their hair. It’s just hair! Especially for boys, if it doesn’t work out or they hate it, you can shave it all and start over and guess what…it will grow back, haha! I had dredlocks when I was a teenager and I had very bright red hair for a long time. My husband had every color of the rainbow, he had his very curly hair professionally straightened (NOT a good look, haha), and had a very big afro for a while. Who cares? If our oldest asks for blue hair or a mohawk (which he has had) or hair down to his butt (which he is working on), I won’t say no. It’s just hair!
